How much does it cost?
Tuition is set at fixed rates based on your child's age and planned weekly attendance.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due one week in advance. Payments must be made by Friday at 5 pm for the week ahead.
What happens if I don't pay on time?
A late fee of $25 will be charged for every week your tuition goes unpaid. Late tuition, by 2 weeks, may result in disenrollment. Please contact the center if you are having difficulty.
How do I know if I qualify for Child care assistance? (CCAP)
Eligibility for CCAP is based upon family income and family size. To qualify as a new applicant, family income must be 200% of below of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). We can help you with your application. (2021 Income Guidelines for family size: 2 - $34,836, 3 - $43,920, 4 - $53,004, 5 - $62,076, 6 - $72,160, 7 - $80,244, 8 - $98,400)

Are there registration fees?
Yearly or Annual $50 fee due on July 1st per child
Do you take credit cards?
We take tuition payments in cash, personal check or money order.
We do not accept credit card payments. At this time.
Do you offer discounted tuition?
We do not offer discounted tuition; however, we partner with Community Coordinated Child Care (4-Cs) of McHenry and DeKalb Counties, a Childcare Resource & Referral Service (CCR&R). 4-Cs will assist in processing your application for childcare subsidy (Child Care Assistance Program, Illinois Department of Human Services) payments, based upon family size and income.

Copays are determined by the State based upon family size and income.

will i have to pay tuition if my child is on vacation?
We do not offer tuition credits for vacation.
what happens if my child becomes sick while at the center?
We comply with the Model Health Policies and Procedures Manual, published by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Illinois DCFS Licensing Standards. If you child becomes ill at the Center, parents will be promptly notified. Parents will be required to arrange for pick up within an hour of notification.
*additional charges may be added if your child remains longer than 10 hours.

will i have to pay tuition for unplanned absences?
We do not offer tuition credits for unplanned absences.
how long may my child remain at the center each day?
A child may remain at our center for a maximum of 10 hours per day.
Why Did my co-pay go up?
Copays are determined by the State based upon family size and income. BBDC does not determine your copay. Your copay may increase if you have submitted a change in income or job status.
